We would like to share an update on the work underway to repair, restore and enhance Elizabeth Ziegler Public School.

Project Update – Elizabeth Ziegler Public School

Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) staff have been busy completing the necessary pre-construction steps to allow construction to begin at the Elizabeth Ziegler Public School site.

The prequalification process for general contractors and masons has been completed. The project will be tendered in the coming weeks and once this step is complete, WRDSB staff will work alongside the successful general contractor to begin work at the Elizabeth Ziegler Public School site as quickly as possible.

At this time the school remains closed and is expected to open in September 2027.
