Today we had 130 students and staff who signed up to participate in a Day of Silence. Participants made the decision to spend the entire day being silent, and they wore a sticker that read, “I am silent to stand up for children who don’t have a voice in what happens in their lives”.
This was a great opportunity to put some of our character education attributes (empathy, kindness, social responsibility, respect, hope) into practice. Bravo to all of the EZ Tigers who took on this challenge!
