Today our Gr. 1-6 students had the opportunity to watch the show, “Carmen a la recre” (The Schoolyard Carmen). This musical opera dealt with the following themes; Being an Orphan, Being a New Immigrant to Canadian Society, Schoolyard bullying, and The Value of Independence. This bilingual performance was a great opportunity for our students to hear the French language in a dramatic setting.
