At our monthly character assembly today, our students learned about empathy. Our seasonal 5 Days of Giving are starting on Monday, and this is a great way for students and families to show empathy and help some people in our local community, our region,  our province, and around the world.

 

Monday – French books (new or gently used) for an orphanage in Benin, West Africa (we had a wonderful video and presentation today by Rebecca Seiling, an EZ parent, so be sure to ask your child for more information about the schools in Benin!)

Tuesday – School Supplies for a First Nations’ school in Ontario

Wednesday – Hats and Mitts for the “Out of the Cold” program

Thursday – Money to provide shoes for kids in Uganda ($5 will buy a pair of shoes in Uganda!)

Friday – Baby items (food, diapers, wipes) and toiletries for Mary’s Place
