If your child is interested in wearing a costume to school on October 31, they are welcome to. Please ensure that your child’s costume is appropriate for school, both in terms of safety and theme. Costumes should not depict violence, and should not be frightening for younger students. Students may not bring any weapons (toy or real), or things that could be used as weapons. Please ensure that your child is able to safely move around the school in their costume. We have many stairs, so masks and long, flowing costumes are not recommended.

 

Your child’s teacher may set aside a short amount of time that day for students to have a celebration. If you are sending food with your child, please send healthy snacks only, and remember that nuts and sesame seeds are not allowed in our school.
