Kids on the Block

Last Tuesday our students enjoyed a presentation from “Kids on the Block”. The students learned about people’s differences (both differences that are visible and non-visible) and received a great message about inclusivity and respect. Thanks to the staff that organized this presentation!

The Elizabeth Ziegler school community collected 1 600 POUNDS of food for the food bank during our Halloween for Hunger food drive!!! A special thanks to the Union of Youth for organizing such a fantastic initiative, and thanks to the entire Elizabeth Ziegler school community for their generosity. What a great example of kindness!

Erick Traplin Concert!!!

Today is Random Act of Kindness Day in Waterloo Region, and our K-Gr. 2/3 classes were treated to a FREE concert by children’s entertainer Erick Traplin!
